Whatever type of fuel you use, the main thing is that it is of high quality. By and large, it doesn't matter whether the equipment works in a quarry or on a construction site in the city, but the quality of diesel fuel or gasoline plays an important role in whether your transport will cope with the tasks assigned to it.

Working in a quarry means working at a depth, and the temperature there is lower than on the surface, so ordinary winter diesel fuel often cannot cope with low temperatures, and Arctic diesel fuel is able to withstand it, because it has the lowest cloud point temperature, and it is mainly used in the regions with harsh climatic conditions.

In the event that you do not have a single opportunity to use an Arctic diesel fuel, and the usual one is not suitable for work in severe frost, then the problem will be solved by adding TS-1 kerosene to it, 25% of which in the total volume of diesel fuel can lower the cloud point of the fuel approximately at 10C.

In principle, KamAZ is an unpretentious car in terms of the choice of fuel for it. KamAZ will run on both heating oil and diesel fuel of a higher class. But if we recommend it, then, of course, for KamAZ, the ideal option would be fuel of a class not lower than Euro-3 and Euro-4. The most important thing is that the fuel is of high quality: very often, trying to save money, people fill up the equipment with the cheapest fuel, which can lead to car breakdown and costly repairs.

There are many explanations for this. First, fire safety - the underground fuel tank is not exposed to direct sunlight, therefore it is safer to store it. Secondly, it is important for fuel that it is not subjected to sudden temperature changes (especially in the cold season), and in summer, at high temperatures, so that it does not expand too much, which is observed in the conditions of underground storage of a fuel tank. Thirdly, in the ground, deformation and other mechanical effects on the fuel capacity are minimized. When buying a fuel container, check with the seller if it can be stored underground.
